Day 130: The Dynamite Prawns

Finally had a chance to dine at PF Chang’s today. A colleague at work had been raving about their dynamite shrimp and we decided to try it out. Served in a cocktail glass, this appetizer is a feast to the eyes. We also loved the crab wonton and the wok-charred beef. We would surely be back to try out the other items on their menu soon.

Day 129: The Teapot

I am not a hot tea drinker but I would still love to own a teapot just like this. I’ll be on the look out for a cute teapot set whenever I get a chance to explore the souqs.

Day 128: Eid Mubarak!

Today marks the first day of Eid. We have a long weekend, however, since the heat during the day is still terrible at this time of the year, we didn’t travel to nearby Emirates like we used to do in the previous years. We just stayed home and invited some friends over for lunch. We’ve prepared some barbecue for the guests. Eid Mubarak!

Day 127: Pinoy Custard

I should have considered the first impression I had when I saw this set of leche flan. It looked “anemic”  including its syrup. I was disappointed with the taste. It was very bland. So much for my love for cute stuff. Next time I’ll stick to the oval ones and I wont buy  this ever from the Pinoy supermarket again.

Day 126: Eid Gifts

Eid is just around the corner as evidenced by these eid gifts given by our company to our important clients. Eid marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting.

Day 125: Pick-me-Up

This tissue holder sure caught my attention at the Chinese Restaurant. I actually wanted to take it home.
